Jaime Ardila

President, GM South America; Executive Vice-President, General Motors

Jaime Ardial was appointed Executive Vice-President and President GM South America on June 22, 2010 after serving as GM Mercosur President. He is a member of the GM Executive Leadership Team reporting to GM President, Daniel Ammann. Ardila was born in Pereira, Colombia. Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota in 1977 and a Master’s degree from the
London School of Economics in 1981. Ardila serves as a Board member at the American Chamber of Commerce, in Sao Paulo; the Americas Council/Council of the Americas,
headquartered in NYC and Accenture.
