I am currently the Vice President for Corporate Communications Operations & Corporate
Citizenship overseeing the Company’s global communication and citizenship functions and programs including King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture – Ithra. Prior to my current role, I was the Director of Community Services, and the Director of Ithra. During which, I led the development and implementation of the center’s strategy to be a hub and a destination within the kingdom of Saudi Arabia for national and international talent in the function of art, culture, STEAM and creativity.
In 2021, I was selected by the government of Saudi Arabia to be the Commissioner General
of the Saudi Pavilion EXPO 2020, Dubai. During which I was responsible for promoting the
Kingdom’s vision 2030 along with its heritage and culture. In addition, I was involved in promoting the Kingdoms’ candidacy to host EXPO 2030 in Riyadh.
I spent my early career as an Engineer in Power Systems. From 2013 to 2017, I served in a number of leadership positions in Aramco’s Power Systems Engineering and Operation where I
led teams in developing and executing multibillion-dollar oil & gas and renewable projects. In 2019, I joined Public Affair to lead the company’s communication during the IPO of Aramco. In 2017, I was seconded to the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnership at Saudi Arabia’s Royal Court. As the Vice President of Strategic Partnership Program, I oversaw the
development of a framework and governance to cement and enhance the Kingdom’s partnerships
globally and support Vision 2030 investment goals and targets.
I hold a B.S degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a M.A in Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. I also completed
several executive Programs at Stanford University and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
