CSO and Co-Founder of GranBio, company that launched the first second generation mill in the south hemisphere. Full professor at UNICAMP, the leading Brazilian university of technology, in which he coordinates projects in areas of BioEnergy, Genomics and Biotechnology of microorganisms and plants. He has published 127 articles, requested 27 patents and supervised 70 Masters and PhD students. He has received several important awards for Science and Technology, is a European Commission Expert and member of the São Paulo’s Academy of Science.
