Emma is an independent Non-Executive Director of a range of companies playing a crucial role in accelerating Energy Transition for packaging, biomaterials, renewables, mining and next generation batteries. She is also a mentor of clean tech companies with the potential to scale quickly.

Previously she was CEO of Puma Energy, a global business providing energy solutions to developing markets in Central America, Africa and Asia. She also ran water and gas networks in the UK and Downstream Retail & B2B businesses for Shell around the world.

She holds a DPhil in Surface Chemistry from Balliol College, Oxford University and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
