Doris Oberdabernig is a senior postdoc researcher at the World Trade Institute (WTI), University of Bern (CH). She holds a PhD in Economics, and degrees in Political Economy and in International Economics and Business Sciences from the University of Innsbruck (AT).

She has worked and taught at different Universities, was part of several research projects, and repeatedly acted as consultant for the World Bank and for the private sector. Her field of research comprises applied econometrics, political economy, environmental economics, international economics and development, and she has published in several international scientific journals on these topics.
