Delia Fischer has more than two decades of experience in high-profile media and communications roles, from sports journalism and football governance, the world of work to her latest challenge of shaping the global conversation about the world of business and society. As the Chief Communications Officer of IMD, Delia is responsible for the institution’s external, internal and digital communications, content and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining IMD, Delia was a Global Head of Corporate Communications for The Adecco Group, managing an international team from the Group’s headquarters in Zurich. In this capacity, she was also responsible for the Thought Leadership, as well as leading the strategic partnership with the World Economic Forum. She also served as a FIFA’s Head of Media during a 15-year career with the global governing body of football, which included overseeing communications for FIFA World Cups and the global football governance crisis. She is a trained journalist and holds a Masters of Business Science with a major in sports management.
Under Delia’s guidance, IMD is rapidly developing and expanding its existing communications programme and platforms to build on its reputation for thought leadership excellence, engagement, and innovation. This included the creation and launch of IMD’s first magazine and content ecosystem I by IMD.
