Darren Cromwell is a Managing Director and the Marsh and Mercer US and Canada Industry Practice Leader at Marsh and McLennan Companies, the global leader in risk, strategy, and people services. He leads 27 Industry Practice Leaders, driving growth, retention, and risk management innovation for companies and organizations. Darren previously led MMC’s Growth Opportunity Program, creating new client value across Marsh, Mercer, Oliver Wyman, and Guy Carpenter. He also served as Marsh’s Sales and Industry Operations Leader, developing global strategies to drive greater risk reslience and optimize client insights. Darren is on the Board of the National African American Insurance Association New England chapters and mentors at Year-Up, promoting equitable access to opportunities. Darren also fundraises for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. While at Bates College, Darren founded an e-commerce startup featured in CNN Money and Fortune Magazine as one of the “6 Hot Dorm Room Startups.”
