Currently, Associate Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University. Leader in the field of brain-machine interfaces (BMI), designed to help paralyzed patients and amputees regain movement. Uses BMI to study how the brain changes during learning and how learning can be accelerated.
