I hold a BEd. Majoring in Biological Sciences, an MSc in Botany (Plant Pathology) and PhD in Pesticide Science (Safety). I have been working as a Policy Scientist in Kenya for over 16 years and have been involved in regional and international meetings especially CBD and its protocols. I have served in the CBD AHTEG on Synthetic Biology, Currently I am spearheading the establishment of Synthetic Biology Capacity in Kenya Universities and Research Institution to support the Country's Bioeconomy development through research, products development and favourable policy environment. I am a member of the Environmental Institute of Kenya (EIK). I am interested in emerging Technologies adoption for Social Economic development in a safe secure environment.
