Angel is passionate about technology, nineteenth-century literature and finding solutions to tough problems. In his current role as corporate strategist for Amadeus IT Group, he advises the Executive Committee on long-term strategy topics. Previously, he spent five years in Qatar managing the ecommerce marketing division for Qatar Airways. He started his career at Procter & Gamble.
Angel holds a BS and MSc in Aeronautics Engineering by Univ. Politecnica Madrid, an MBA by IE Business School and a PhD in Economics & Innovation by Univ. Politecnica Madrid. His academic research focuses on digital marketing and understanding how national culture influences our behavior. Angel is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, and frequently collaborates with universities, media outlets and international conferences as guest speaker.
