Dr. Andrés Simón González-Silén is a Venezuelan phisician and businessman, Executive President of Grupo Venemergencia. He has a master's degree in administration from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracion (IESA) and is President of the Board of Directors of that house of study.
He is the founder of Grupo Venemergencia, a leading business conglomerate in Venezuela providing care services. With more than 22 years of history and 1,500 employees, it has offices nationwide. It is the only one in the sector with ISO 9001:2015 certification and its operating model uses technology to improve the quality of life of its 2,100,000 users while reducing the operating costs of its B2B customers. In health, the ecosystem seeks to avoid unnecessary visits to hospital centers through telemedicine, home medical care, primary care with specialists, ambulances, home pharmacy and Urgent Care emergency rooms, with a network of 21 clinics. In addition, they provide Aeroambulance services with airplanes and helicopters. In roadside assistance, they have the largest tow truck network in the country and provide preventive maintenance services for vehicle fleets. Technological services are marketed through the first insurtech in Venezuela, which develops innovative solutions to expand the scope of insurance companies.
Through the Venemergencia Foundation, a non-profit organization endorsed by the National Academy of Medicine, they contribute to the educational development of the country in health by educating the population in first aid and with their Diploma of paramedics in alliance with local universities. They also provide free assistance through the publicly access telemedicine program and the placement of automatic external defibrillators in public spaces with the publicly access defibrillation program.
Dr. González-Silén is Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, a member of YPO, of the Group of Fifty and has been part of the Board of Directors of several social and private organizations such as the Digitel Corporation and Behrens Laboratories.
