Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Founder and
Chairman of Coronation Capital: Aigboje is a
highly regarded banking professional with 25
years’ experience in financial markets, asset and
liability management, risk management,
structured finance and commercial banking. Prior
to co-founding Coronation Capital, he spent the
last twelve years as Group Managing Director
and Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc -
a leading African Bank.
Aig possesses extensive international and regional
experience, having developed greenfield and
brownfield banking businesses in the United
Kingdom, Ghana, Zambia, Congo, Rwanda and
Cote D’Ivoire. He has also developed significant
high-level contacts and relationships in the fields
of banking, private equity, industry, academia,
philanthropy and government.
He currently serves as Chairman - Wapic
Insurance Plc; and President - Nigeria Stock
Exchange.
Mr. Aigboje holds a Bachelor of La w from the
Nigerian law school and a LLB from the
University of Benin. He is also a fellow of the
Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria.
