Abheet Solomon is the programme planning and partnerships lead for UNICEF’s global health programme. Based in New York, Abheet is also the lead for UNICEF’s Healthy Environments for Healthy Children programme which focuses on protecting children’s health from the impact of climate change and pollution.
Abheet has worked with UNICEF for over 20 years in various roles across Africa, the Caribbean, South Asia and North America, focusing on UNICEF's programmes on maternal, newborn and child health, education, WASH and child protection.
Abheet has a multi-disciplinary educational background with Master’s degrees in Sociology and Computer Applications from India, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
