Quid has created a new type of software that allows users to "read" massive amounts of information at one time. It does this by indexing billions of high-value documents and then allowing users to view interactive visual maps of the data on the fly, and so navigate their way through the world's collective intelligence and see relationships that were previously hidden. Quid is based in San Francisco and is backed by investors including Founders Fund, Tiger Capital and Liberty Media.
