Institute for the Development of Natural Energy and Sustainability (IDEAAS) specializes in developing projects to provide energy access and the use of energy to promote income generation and local development to rural or isolated areas in the developing world. It has developed a business and management model, using renewable energy and decentralized generation, to bring electricity in a sustainable way to these communities. It is installing the Center for Learning on Renewable Energy and Decentralized Generation, according to plans to transfer its knowledge to other areas in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, has projects that are scaling up and is looking for investor partners.
