InfraCo

A donor-funded, privately managed project development company which aims to improve access to infrastructure services in low income developing African and Asian countries. Launched in 2005, it identifies green field investment opportunities and develops them to the stage where they can attract domestic and international finance. Its mandate encompasses infrastructure services such as power, water and telecoms, and its portfolio includes several agriculture supporting infrastructure projects.
