Future Fund Management Agency was established in 2006 to strengthen the Australian Government's long-term financial position. It operates as an investment management firm. The Company provides portfolio management and consulting services to its private clients.
Future Fund Management Agency invests the assets of five special purpose public asset funds: the Future Fund, DisabilityCare Australia Fund, the Medical Research Future Fund and two Nation-building Funds. It operates independently from Government and tailor the management of each fund to its unique investment mandate.
