Fundación Gente Nueva

Fundación Gente Nueva is an organization devoted to the development of poor Argentinean youth through education and cultural programmes. It has 10 community-managed public schools located in the poorest areas of Bariloche. Each school becomes a community centre after school hours. The schools include two pre-schools that take children from 45 days to 5-years-old, two primary schools, three secondary schools which also include adult education, and three technical schools. It also has programmes for land rights, health, work for young people, entrepreneurs, micro credit and infants.
