EnQuest is one of the largest United Kingdom-based independent oil companies in the United Kingdom North Sea and Malaysia. Since its initial public offering (IPO) in 2010, EnQuest has been growing rapidly. It generated $800 million in EBITDA in 2018 and achieved a long-term average compound annual growth rate of about 17% for production and reserves. It has net 2P oil reserves of 245 million barrels, with net contingent resources of some 200 million barrels. It operates its own production licences and has a workforce of 3,500 and production of about 70,000 barrels/day net.
