CREN - Centre of Nutritional Recovery and Education fosters the effective nutritional education and recovery of children and adolescents with slight, moderate or serious primary malnutrition (undernutrition and obesity). The centre develops and implements new methods of preventing and tackling the widespread undernutrition problem throughout Brazil and Latin America and Africa. CREN provides training and consultancy on nutritional interventions, actively searches for cases and undertakes human-centred global intervention and educational approaches that allow for long-lasting outcomes. In its 24 years of existence, CREN has had an indirect impact on the lives of over 3.8 million people.
