Arcos Dorados (NYSE: ARCO) is the exclusive owner, operator and grantor of McDonald's franchises throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. As the world's largest McDonald's franchisee, it has 1,948 restaurants in 20 countries, employing more than 90,000 people in Latin America with revenues of approximately $3.8 billion in 2012. It began trading on the New York Stock Exchange in 2011.
