The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters is the foremost creative force for engaging the world's top leaders in collaborative activities to shape the global, regional and industry agendas at the beginning of each year. In this regard, the Forum's mission – improving the state of the world – guides the design and development of the Annual Meeting objectives.
Participants will come together at the Annual Meeting to address the most pressing issues on the global agenda. They will do so in an exceptional atmosphere and in the “Spirit of Davos”, featuring interdisciplinary, informal and direct interaction among peers.

Musical Moments: Yo-Yo Ma plays Bach’s Cello Suite #1
During the course of the Annual Meeting, Cellist Yo-Yo Ma, 2008 Crystal Awardee and a member of the World Economic Forum's Board of Trustees, gives six pop-up concerts — one for each of J.S. Bach’s six suites for solo cello. Here he performs Bach’s Suite for Solo Cello No.1. Coming in the midst of his Bach Project, a journey to perform the cello suites in 36 locations on six continents, Yo-Yo Ma offers these gifts of music to inspire a conversation about how culture helps us to seek truth, build trust, and act in service of one another. Followed by Q&A.
