Cities Go Circular: Scale360° and Global Shapers

Ponentes: Marco Hernandez, Margherita Barbieri, Simona Grande, William McDonough, Kruti Munot, Helen Burdett, Liepa Olsauskaite

The World Economic Forum's Scale360° initiative brings together leaders in science, policy and business to trigger circular change. In 2021, Global Shapers came together as leaders and collaborators to leverage the Scale360° Circular Innovation Playbook – grounded in design-thinking methodologies – to fast-track Fourth Industrial Revolution impact.

Four pilot cities were selected in a competitive application process from the 450 Global Shaper hubs around the world. Bangkok Hub, Brussels Hub, Mexico City Hub and Turin Hub brought together experts and leaders in civil society, government and industry to deliver concrete interventions that strengthen local circular innovation ecosystems. Hub teams and their collaborators will share their impact and announce exciting plans to broaden the reach of Scale360° within the Global Shapers Community as a viable grassroots solution to accelerating circular innovation.

This session will have live captions available in Arabic, French, Germany, Italian, Spanish, and Thai.
