Vikram Kumar completed his studies in Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology and Columbia University and in Medicine from Harvard Medical School and MIT. In 2007, Vikram held a residency in Clinical Pathology at Brigham & Women's Hospital. In 2002, he became Co-Founder of Dimagi (mobile health). Currently, Vikram is Chief Medical Officer. He is also Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clear Creek Bio (cancer therapeutics). Vikram is the recipient of several awards including: named in TR100, MIT Technology Review; Humanitarian of the Year, MIT Technology Review; Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans; Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur (2012).
