Scott Russell

Member of the Executive Board, Customer Success, SAP

As a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, Scott Russell leads Customer Success, the company’s global sales, services, partner, and customer engagement organization.

Scott is a passionate proponent of the latest innovations and simplified commercial models that help organizations move to and transform in the cloud quickly. Along with his leadership team, he is responsible for orchestrating multidisciplinary teams across 180 countries to help customers derive the optimal value from their SAP investment.

Having joined SAP in 2010, Scott is well known for his authentic and energetic leadership style in inspiring transformation and growth in organizations of all sizes and industries. With his deep-rooted belief in the business imperative of leading with purpose, Scott is an active champion for early talents and diversity and inclusion.

Prior to being named to the Executive Board of SAP, Scott most recently served as President of SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). Under his leadership, APJ has evolved to become one of SAP’s fastest-growing cloud markets globally. In his 11 years tenure with SAP APJ, he held several senior leadership positions, including leader of APJ’s Professional Services organization, the region’s Chief Operating Officer, as well as President and Managing Director of SAP’s business in Southeast Asia. Prior to joining SAP, Scott was a Partner at PwC and a senior executive at IBM.

Originally from Australia, Scott currently resides in Singapore. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from Australia’s Deakin University.
