Dr. Santitarn Sathirathai, an experienced economist, writer, and executive, has worked across various sectors, including finance, technology, government, and academia, in Thailand and globally. As the sole Asian economist to win the Consensus Economics Outstanding Global Economic Forecast award for three consecutive years in the post-COVID-19 world, Dr. Sathirathai was also invited by the World Economic Forum to contribute to designing the future economy with a group of leading global economists.
He is a visiting lecturer at Chulalongkorn University. A passionate advocate for the power of technology to drive transformation and inclusion, he has published two best selling books in Thai language. His latest best-selling book, The Great Remake, outlines the post-pandemic world and how Thailand can prepare for the new challenges and opportunities.
Santitarn holds a doctorate degree in Public Policy and a master’s degree in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
