Partner, GFBiochemicals, a leading global producer of levulinic acid and derivatives. Co-founded the business seven years ago with the ambition of finding sustainable alternatives to oil- based products. 2016, GFBiochemicals acquired Segetis, a leading producer of levulinic acid derivatives. Has always been interested in new technology and has played an active role in developing the businesses alongside playing career at AC Milan, Arsenal and Crystal Palace. At the World Bio Markets Awards in 2016, nominated as Bio-based Business Person of the Year. Member, Paris 2024 Olympic Environmental Excellence Committee. Was part of the team that created BIOCIRCE, Europe’s first Masters’ degree dedicated to the bioeconomy, through GFBiochemical’s collaboration with several leading Italian universities. Having co-founded GFBiochemicals, pivotal role in the creation of both BIOCIRCE and the BioJournal further underlines commitment to the long-term development of the bioeconomy.
