Mark Doumba is an entrepreneur, investor, and development economist. He is a Managing Partner at Enovate Capital, a Dubai-based venture capital firm that builds and invests in technology, financial services, telecom, and healthcare companies in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
He plays an active role as Founder and Chairman of CLIKAFRIK Group, a technology company that fosters digital, financial and formal sector inclusion in Sub-Saharan Africa through innovation in technology, payments and public policy. Prior to this, Mark co-founded Okoume Capital; a €30.6 million Sovereign Venture Capital Fund designed to finance and support high-impact entrepreneurship in Gabon. He started his career in investment banking and principal investments in Dubai, UAE as a financial analyst.
Mark has served on the Global Agenda Council on Responsible Mineral Resources Management at the World Economic Forum (2014-2016), on the Transitional Committee of the UNFCCC Green Climate Fund (2011), and as Managing Editor of the Africa Policy Journal at Harvard University (2018-2019).
Mark earned a Bachelor's degree in finance from the George Washington University; and Master's degrees from the London School of Economics (LSE), and the Harvard Kennedy School.
