Malak holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management & Organizational Development with a focus on Education to Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Malak previously worked at an E-commerce Start-up (EXCOM), at L’Oréal Paris, at the African Development Bank, at Havas Group and at Fondation Orient Occident before she joined the Faculty of Governance, Economic and Social Sciences (Mohamed VI Polytechnic University) as a professor in charge of the International Mobility Office.
Malak has taught various modules in different higher education institutions such as Fundamentals of Marketing at FGSES-UM6P, Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Africa at ESSEC Business School, Project Management track at Junia Engineering School and she has led workshops for diverse audiences on topics such as Ikigai, UX design, Design Thinking, Agile Project Management, Emotional and Collective Intelligence and Business Model Canvas.
Malak was also a part of Global Shapers Rabat (which is an initiative from the World Economic Forum) as a curator (2021-2022) and was nominated to join the Global Shapers Community's Advisory Council for a 2 years mandate (2023-2025).
Malak firmly believes that empowering youths through education, entrepreneurship, civic involvement, international mobility and vocational learning is the cornerstone of economic growth, well-being, and social stability. Hence, along with her professional duties, Malak is passionate about mentoring aspiring young leaders and women entrepreneurs in programs such as the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative - We-fi (powered by World Bank), Purpose in Motion - PIM (powered by Huawei) and Open Start Up (powered by Columbia Business and Engineering Schools).
