Jim Van Eerden is a co-founder and President of 5th Element and leads the company's strategy and global alliances.

Jim's 30-year career began in brand management for the World Cup and Olympic partners. He then served in executive roles helping to launch ventures for Global 2000 companies including Pearson Education, GM and PepsiCo, and with celebrities like Matt Damon and Serena Williams.

Jim has been an Executive Producer for a slate of award-winning global films, is a co-founder of an impact investing fund and a portfolio of leading impact companies, and has served on the boards of several national and global not-for-profits.
