Jacqui Gifford has been the editor in chief of Travel + Leisure, the world's leading travel media brand, since 2018. From 2013 to 2018, she served as travel director, special projects editor, and senior editor with T+L. Under her leadership, the brand has won two National Magazine Awards from the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) and a James Beard Award, in addition to numerous awards from the Society of American Travel Writers, the North American Travel Journalists Association, and Folio. She appears frequently as an expert guest on television programs, including NBC's Today, to share travel ideas and discuss trends within the industry. A graduate of Princeton University with a B.A. in English, Jacqui was born in Japan, and raised in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and New Hope, Pennsylvania.
