Prof Greg Clark is the Senior Adviser on Future Cities and New Industries at HSBC. HSBC has extensive banking activity with Future Cities, Metro Mobility, New Industries, and Innovation Economy.
Greg has extensive experience as a Global Advisor, Writer, Non-Executive Director on Urban Futures and City Investment. Over the past 10 years he has provided thought leadership to global organisations: The World Bank, OECD, The Brookings Institution, and The Urban Land Institute, on the evolution of the metropolitan century. He has worked with leaders in more than 100 cities world-wide on strategic futures, and has advised numerous global firms on the investment and enterprise opportunities of an urbanising world.
He holds professorial roles at University College London and Strathclyde University, is a Global Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.
Previously he was lead advisor on cities and regional development at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in the UK, and Executive Director of the London Development Agency.
He is currently a Board Member of Transport for London, and Chairman of TfL Investment and Programmes Committees.
