Necmettin Kaymaz has been working with the Turkish Investment Office since its establishment in 2007. Right after joining the Office, he established the Directorate of Economic and Sectoral Research and managed it for six years. Throughout his professional life, Mr. Kaymaz has accumulated extensive experience and knowledge on foreign direct investment and Turkish economy.

Prior to joining the Investment Office, Mr Kaymaz interned with the UN and EU institutions in New York and Brussels. He is a graduate of Middle East Technical University with a BSc degree in Political Science and Public Administration. He also pursued postgraduate studies in International and European Relations at Linkoping University in Sweden and Global Management at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in Spain
