Global Progress on gender equality

Globally, the world has become more equal this year, closing the gender gap back to pre-pandemic levels. However, the level of parity still stands at only 68.6%. At the current rate of progress, we won't see a fully equal world until 2154.

  • Iceland (91.2% parity)
  • Norway (87.9% parity)
  • Finland (86.3% parity)
