Jamie McAuliffe

Founder & Director, Global Opportunity Youth Network, Aspen Institute

Jamie is the Founding Director of The Aspen Institute’s Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN), a network of community partners and young leaders committed to cross-sector, systemic approaches to advancing decent jobs for youth. GOYN works in 20 communities across India, Africa, and Latin America and has connected close to 1M Opportunity Youth to economic opportunity. Previously, Jamie was President and CEO of Education For Employment (EFE) and grew the organization to provide job opportunities for tens of thousands of youth across the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to EFE, Jamie was Portfolio Manager at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation (now Blue Meridian Partners), a foundation dedicated to scaling solutions to lift people out of poverty. Early in his career, Jamie worked as a Director at Ashoka. He has degrees from Georgetown and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, is a Schwab Foundation Global Social Entrepreneur and life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
