1995, BA in Biology, Colorado College, Colorado Springs, Colorado; 2001, AMGA Ski Guide Course, Lake Tahoe, CA; 2003, Wilderness First Responder; 2003, Level I Ski Operations, Canadian Avalanche Association, Alberta. Nearly 20 years ago, went on very first skiing expedition to a remote area in India. It ignited a multi-decade career of adventure to some of the most remote corners of the globe. Has been on upwards of 40 expeditions. Combines a passion for exploration, mountains and skiing. Has travelled to some of the most exotic mountain ranges on Earth. First woman to climb two 8,000-meter peaks in 24 hours (Everest and Lhotse). First woman to ski an 8,000 meter peak from the summit of Cho You in Tibet. Has skied on remote volcanoes in the Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia, Mongolia, Pakistan and Lebanon, and has made many first descents in the tight couloirs of Baffin Island.
