Joris Poort is Founder and CEO of Rescale, the leading full-stack platform for high-performance computing, computational engineering, applied artificial intelligence, and cloud-based R&D. Prior to founding Rescale, Joris worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company on product development in semiconductor and high-tech engagements. Joris began his career at Boeing, as an engineer on the 787 Dreamliner program, optimizing the design of the tail and wings.

Joris holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School, an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics magna cum laude from the University of Washington, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Applied Mathematics magna cum laude from the University of Michigan.
