Bincheng Mao

Global Shaper, New York Hub, New York Hub

Bincheng Mao is the President of the Board of Directors at the East Coast Coalition for Tolerance and Non-Discrimination (ECC), a charity that promotes inclusion and care for vulnerable minorities. For his charitable work, Bincheng has been awarded by former US President Bill Clinton and his humanitarian foundation. In 2022, Forbes magazine named one of the 100 outstanding Chinese in the world. Previously, Mao was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and inducted into the Davos World Economic Forum Global Shapers community in 2021.

Under Bincheng's leadership, the charity launched several nonprofit social care projects, including the Equitable Health Care Access for Minorities initiative. This project assisted over 85,000 minorities with language barriers in gaining equitable medical attention during the COVID-19 crisis. Bincheng's work was featured on the front page of Fox News New York.

Bincheng has interviewed a range of world leaders on behalf of Inclusion Advocate. Bincheng has conducted interviews with former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Canadian Prime Minister Kim Campbell, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, World Bank President Robert Zoellick, Mexican Foreign Minister Jorge Castaneda, Ms. Chelsea Clinton, and Nobel laureate Esther Duflo.

Committed to raising public awareness of social equality, Bincheng contributes articles to the Chicago Tribune and the World Economic Forum Agenda. He has written extensively on racial equality, poverty elimination, and women’s rights. His opinion pieces have been read by over a million unique readers and have been reprinted in over 20 newspapers in the United States and Canada.
