He has held national roles including Client and Industries leader and Talent leader for the Brazilian firm. Altair is a member of a number of associations and professional organizations, which include: IBRACON (Brazilian Institute of Accountants and Auditors), ANEFAC (National Association of Finance executives), CRC (São Paulo Board of Accountancy), CPA (California Board of Accounting) and CORECON (São Paulo Board of Economics). Academic qualifications are: Bachelor in Economics and Accounting and MBA in Finance.
