Inflation Might be Slowing. But What Does that Actually Mean for Workers and the Economy?
Prices are still rising faster than wages, eating into the pay packets of workers around the world. "Inflation doesn't treat everyone equally. It really hits low-income workers the hardest. And so as we look at the global and the macro risk, it's important also to look at what parts of the population, the global population, really needs more help and could use fiscal intervention, whether it is in jobs, skilling, whether it is in social assistance."
