The GPAP Annual Report 2025 outlines the Global Plastic Action Partnership’s progress in accelerating national, regional and global efforts to end plastic pollution. This year, GPAP reached a major milestone with the establishment of 25 National Plastic Action Partnerships, now reaching more than 1.5 billion people across Africa, Asia and Latin America – making GPAP the world's largest initiative tackling plastic pollution.

The report highlights GPAP’s evidence-based approach, including the launch of seven new National Plastic Action Roadmaps that provide data-driven pathways to increase circularity, reduce pollution and create green jobs. It also underscores the importance of inclusive action, featuring efforts that strengthen gender equity, youth leadership and community-level innovation.

Additional sections explore GPAP’s work on the biodiversity–plastic pollution nexus, mobilizing financing, engaging the private sector and supporting multilateral efforts, along with priorities for advancing circular, resilient and equitable plastic systems in the year ahead.
