Samantha Motsoe Akwei is a Ghanaian-American executive strategist, public servant, and social impact leader advancing equitable growth through cross-sector collaboration. She works with organizations across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to align philanthropic capital, policy advocacy, and strategic partnerships in support of sustainable, community-driven solutions for historically marginalized communities.

In leadership roles as Communications Director, Diversity Director, and Talent Manager, Samantha has advised organizations on equity strategy, organizational development, grantmaking, inclusive programming, and digital communications. Her work spans civic engagement, capacity building, and institutional giving, mobilizing resources and scaling initiatives that advance digital access, workforce development, and economic inclusion. Her experience includes roles with Mozilla Corporation, Google Fiber, The Justice and Diversity Center, and AmeriCorps, where she supported efforts to advance systems change.

Samantha is active in global and national professional networks including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Catalyst 2030, ForbesBLK, Global Shapers, the National Democratic Training Committee, HandsOn Bay Area, and New Leaders Council. An award-winning slam poet and co-author of the Best New African Poets Anthology (2015), she holds a B.A. from Spelman College and an M.P.A. from San Francisco State University.
