Renat Heuberger is a pioneer and serial social entrepreneur in the field of sustainability, climate change, and renewable energies, where he has been engaged since 1999. As co-founder, he has overseen the growth of South Pole from a start-up to a globally leading climate finance platform. Renat serves as a member of the Expert Network of the World Economic Forum, acts as Innovation Council for the Swiss government, acts as an angel investor in several impact-driven start-ups, and holds numerous board roles. Renat holds a master’s degree in environmental sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS).
