Jonathan is Senior Vice President at Mastercard where he is responsible for executing an inclusive growth strategy across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. This includes leading a high-impact team that leverages the company's data, technology, venture philanthropy, and expertise to deliver strategic growth through partnerships with financial institutions, fintechs, digital partners, foundations, multilateral institutions, and governments to help power economies.

Jonathan brings twenty years of experience across the public, private, and social sectors. In the private sector, Jonathan was most recently an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company where he served clients in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. In the public and social sectors, he served as the founding Executive Director of a public-private economic development partnership comprised of the White House, World Bank, and Fortune 100 businesses that raised $5.2 billion through blended finance vehicles to facilitate trade and foreign direct investments in infrastructure and energy projects, financial technology, and agricultural ventures.

He previously served as Chairman of the U.S. Export-Import Bank’s Energy Committee; advisor to the President-elect of the United States on the presidential transition team; Chief of Staff of a federal agency with a $6 billion budget and 22,000 employees in 46 countries at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; and senior economic and national security aide in the White House and U.S. Congress.

Jonathan is a graduate of Georgetown and Harvard University and was awarded an Eisenhower Fellowship. He was named a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and has served on advisory bodies to the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, World Economic Forum, Amnesty International, and as a consulting fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. He speaks Spanish, French, and German.
