John is a young professional in the youth space who is passionate about human capital development targeted especially on youth from underserved communities. John is also a passionate youth mental health advocate and has served in the Harare hub as the mental health project lead from 2021 to 2023. He has also served as a youth advisor for Orygen Global Advisory Council advising them on the formulation of a global strategy for youth mental health. He was also a committee member of the International Association for Youth Mental Health. John is currently the head of the shaper development function in the Global Shapers Harare Hub
