Graduate, Ecole Normale Supérieure and the Ecole des Mines. 1997-99, Budget Officer for Telecommunications and Defence, French Ministry for the Economy. Until 2002, served as Industrial Affairs Adviser to Prime Minister Lionel Jospin. 2002, joined the Suez Company (then GDF-Suez, now ENGIE) and held various key leadership positions within the Group, latterly as Chief Financial Officer, ENGIE and Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Currently, Chief Executive Officer, ENGIE, a global energy and services group, focused on three core activities: low-carbon power generation, global networks and client solutions. ENGIE operates in more than 70 countries, employs about 150,000 people and achieved revenues of €65 billion in 2017. Chairperson, Terrawatt Initiative (TWI), a global non-profit organization which aims at scaling up solar capacity in the world. Member of the Board, SUEZ. The only Frenchwoman to lead a company in Paris’s CAC 40 stock market index. In 2018, ranked 16th in Fortune's World's 50 Greatest Leaders. In 2017, ranked 3rd in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women international list.
