Currently with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD): Special Counsellor to the Secretary-General, Chief of Staff and Sherpa to the G7 and G20. Also responsible for the contributions of the OECD to the global agenda, including the G20 and the G7. Leads the Inclusive Growth Initiative and the New Approaches to Economic Challenges and oversees the OECD’s work on employment and social affairs, which include missions to promote new economic narrative beyond GDP, social mobility (including addressing the needs of vulnerable children), people's well-being as well as gender strategy (governance, leadership, labour force participation, family life, stereotypes, legal framework, digital divide). Within the OECD, former Head of OECD Office in Mexico and Latin America. Has held positions as Professor of International Economy, Universidad Iberoamericana and Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Formerly: held several positions in the Mexican Government, including: Director, Economic Affairs (and OECD issues), Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Technical Secretary, Office of the Minister for the Budget.
