Since May 2020, Christian Bruch has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Energy AG, a global leader in energy technology. Under his leadership, Siemens Energy was spun off from Siemens AG, listed on the stock exchange in September 2020 and included in Germany’s DAX index in March 2021. Prior to joining Siemens Energy, he spent more than 15 years in various roles at the Linde Group, culminating in his roles as CEO of Linde Engineering and Speaker of the Executive Board of Linde AG. Christian Bruch began his career with the utility group RWE, where he was responsible for research and development activities in fuel cell technology. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Leibniz University of Hanover, Germany and University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. He later received his doctorate in thermodynamics from ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Christian Bruch is a member of the Supervisory Board of BMW AG. He also serves on the Board of the German Eastern Business Association.
