Bronwen Maddox is Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs. An experienced journalist and policy leader, she previously served as Director of the Institute for Government and as Editor and Chief Executive of Prospect magazine. Earlier, she was Chief Foreign Commentator and Foreign Editor at The Times and an award-winning journalist at the Financial Times. Before journalism, she worked as an investment analyst and director at Kleinwort Benson Securities. Maddox holds a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford and is an Honorary Fellow of the British Academy and Governor of Ditchley.
