Vertical Harvest is an impact-driven business building and running cost-effective and profitable hydroponic farms that do well by doing good. Jackson, Wyoming, is home to a 13,500 sq. ft. three-story stacked vertical greenhouse, one of the world’s first, that uses one-tenth of an acre to grow an annual amount of produce equivalent to 5 acres of traditional agriculture. Vertical Harvest replaces 100,000 lbs of produce that is trucked into the community each year. Vertical Harvest also produces jobs, internships and educational opportunities. The greenhouse employs 15 individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
